Founded by Tom Silver, a highly experienced Audiologist, Tide Hearing was born from the desire to offer truly personal hearing care in a supportive, family-run environment. Tom is joined by his wife, Vicky, who manages the patient care and administration side of the business. Together, we bring not only expertise, but also compassion, understanding, and a genuine passion for improving lives through better hearing.

At Tide Hearing, family is at the heart of everything we do. That includes our daughter Esme, who reminds us daily why hearing life’s little moments matters, and our energetic chocolate Labrador. Together, they keep us grounded, smiling, and focused on what hearing care is really about – staying connected to the sounds and people we love most.

We believe hearing care should never feel rushed or transactional. Every appointment is tailored to you, whether it’s a full hearing assessment, advice on hearing technology, or ongoing support with your hearing aids. Our approach is built on:
